The Company  

Founded in 2000 the business has grown to be one of Australia’s foremost specialist Life Insurance Advisers servicing individuals, families and business owners. 

The national team consists of 9 specialist Risk Advisers with a total of 24 staff (support & claims management) in 30 locations across Australia servicing a large GI referral network. This network is 60 offices strong with 350,000 clients. 

The Role – Senior Risk Adviser 

The primary focus of the role is to provide a high level of service and advice to new and existing clients through personal interaction, client reviews, and education services. 

Build new business relationships developed in partnership with the Business Development Team primarily via the GI referral network. 

As an advocate for the business, engage in the business’s advice philosophy and service delivery by pro-actively supporting activities around the brand, marketing and relationship management of third party referral partners. 

Achieve agreed annual targets with upfront revenue and recurring revenue with respect to on-going advice fees, insurance fees, and client numbers.

The Person 

Ideal applicants will have 3 years’ experience in a client facing Insurance advice role encompassing a broad range of client types and demographics, including business Buy/Sell and Keyman strategies.

Ideally you will have: 

  • Degree Qualified 
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning 
  • Successfully completed FASEA exam 

Advanced interpersonal relationship skills, strong analytical skills and eye for detail, client service focus and a genuine desire to help others are a must. High energy levels, new client engagement skills, lateral thinking capabilities and commercial aptitude will be expected. 

Remuneration 

Base salary package negotiable circa $130-150k plus performance based bonus. 

Bonus paid on client retention, organic growth, client referrals and new business written, plus standard gateway and balanced scorecard measures, compliance, client satisfaction, team work, personal development.
