General Manager / CEO
The General Manager / CEO will oversee all operations and provide strategic input to the Board on the growth and delivery of advice solutions.
The Business
Mature Financial Advice business with strong foundations and growth trajectory seeking an experienced executive with strong leadership, strategic thinking and management capabilities.
Established for over 30 years, independent standalone AFSL employing 22 staff across 3 offices and strong financial record. With a solid risk governance framework, Board and Chairman in place and skilled professional management team they are well positioned for growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Board, the General Manager will take responsibility to effectively manage the revenue and expense profile, service delivery and complete functionality of the business operations.

The position will effectively replace the role and responsibilities of the current CEO. The business refined the General Manager role to allow the in-coming candidate 12 months to integrate, prior to ideally assuming the CEO role.
The Person
Ideal applicants will have 3 years’ experience in a General Management role, and additional direct advice management experience in a financial planning advice business, ideally with full accountability for revenue and financial performance.
Demonstrated leadership, strategy development and commercial growth experience is a must. Transition and M&A experience will be highly regarded.
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package (market rate) commensurate with experience and capabilities will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
