The Role – Certified / Senior Financial Planner

The role is to provide a high level of service and advice to an existing list of clients through personal interaction, client reviews, education, and training services.

Manage an existing book of established loyal fee for service clients and take on the lead relationship role. Working closely with the Practice Principal you will provide “High Touch” relationship management and education services to predominantly young professionals including HNW families and individuals.

Provide technically competent advice to clients – mainly high income PAYG employees, but also some business owners and self employed clients.

Maintain service levels and grow the book. By enriching clients knowledge and enhancing relationships increase the value of advice and grow the book through organic servicing and new business on-boarding.

As an advocate for the business, engage in the business’s advice philosophy and service delivery by pro-actively supporting activities around the brand, marketing and educational workshops.

Identify referral opportunities from existing clients, strategy for seminars, and other promotional activities to leverage business generation activity. Attend and provide support for marketing activities.

You will work closely with the Partners of the firm to implement new processes and efficiencies to support the growth of the advice capability.

Achieve agreed annual targets with initial revenue and recurring revenue with respect to ongoing advice fees, insurance fees, client numbers, retainer conversions and expenses.

Contribute to the establishment of the practice annual revenue targets.

The Person

Ideal applicants will have 5 years’ experience in a client facing advice role encompassing a broad range of client types and demographics. Additionally you will have direct experience working with executives and young professional’s client market.

You will demonstrate a high level of client service ethic, aptitude and capabilities, working knowledge of cash flow modelling advice, tax structures and long term investment strategies. Exposure to and understanding of property investment strategy and modelling will be advantageous.

Degree qualified and have completed or near completion of CFP designation. (FASEA compliant or near)

Advanced interpersonal relationship skills, strong analytical skills and eye for detail, client service focus and a genuine desire to help others are a must. High energy levels, new client engagement skills, lateral thinking capabilities and commercial aptitude will be expected.

Remuneration

Base salary $100-120K inclusive of superannuation, plus incentive bonus.

The business has a highly attractive inventive scheme in-line with the fast paced growth of the firm. It is expected with bonuses paid the total remuneration paid will exceed $200k+

Bonus paid on client retention, organic growth, client referrals and new business written, plus standard gateway and balanced scorecard measures, compliance, client satisfaction, team work, personal development.
