The Business

The business provides financial planning and wealth management services with a focus on guiding Clients towards achieving their ideal financial and lifestyle goals.  

The business specialises in providing advice to professionals, executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. Their team is led by highly skilled advisers who each have a minimum of 15 years of experience working with clients through challenging periods, including the Global Financial Crisis. 

The business has the existing company structure: 

  • 2 x Offices (Brisbane and Canberra) 
  • 3 x Senior Financial Advisers (2 in Brisbane and 1 in Canberra) 
  • 3 x Support Staff (2 in Brisbane and 1 in Canberra who will be placed by this recruitment) and additional outsourced Paraplanner

The Position

The primary objective of the role is to provide an exceptional service and support to the Financial Planners with client relationships, enquiries, client account management, client reviews, and advice implementation. You will also act as a liaison between the clients and the firm and ensuring that the clients receive the assistant they need, and their expectations are met. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Implementation of SOA’s/ROA’s and client strategies 
  • Prepare and handle application forms and comprehensive financial plans 
  • Maintain and update client information in the Xplan database 
  • Manage the administration and processing of client documents 
  • Address and handle client inquiries and concerns effectively 
  • Oversee and schedule client appointments efficiently 
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of client data is maintained 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable risks and regulatory obligations 
  • Collect pertinent financial data and documents 
  • General administration

Ideal applicants must possess the following key skills required in a role: 

  • Knowledgeable in Financial Planning industry 
  • Experience or proficiency in using XPlan is preferred 
  • Possession of a degree is preferred 
  • Strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth 
  • Dedication and passion for pursuing in financial planning career 
  • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor 
  • Experience in delivering high quality client service 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Remuneration

A competitive salary is on offer and will be based on the individual’s qualifications and experience.
