The Business

Boutique predominantly HNW client advice business in Melbourne, with three Senior Advisers, two Associate (PY) Advisers and 10 support staff; PP & Client Service Teams, Admin and Reception.

International Ownerships & Resources; the firm is part of a consortium of boutique client-centric financial advisers that deliver leading expertise through highly personalised, bespoke client service.

The Role

You will actively manage, coach and develop a team of Client Services, Administration and Paraplanning personnel with a hands on approach. Show me don’t tell me leadership is required to foster and inspire teamwork, build moral and a culture of process improvement.

You will drive daily/weekly WIP, Xplan performance and undertake business wide process re-engineering projects. Always focussed on client service delivery, supporting the team of Advisers and keeping an eye on the future.

As the Operations Manager you will provide formal management reports and regular updates on risks and opportunities for the business.

The Person

You will demonstrate 3 years’ experience in a busy financial planning practice leading and managing a team of staff either in a Senior Administration or Operations/Practice Manager role.

High level experience with Xplan, working knowledge of producing advice documentation and strong compliance orientation are a must. You will have experience managing WIP and delivering management reports.

Ideally you will have worked through a variety of back office roles in Client Services, Adviser support and Xplan administration, paraplanning would be beneficial.

Remuneration

Base salary negotiable “subject to experience” circa $140-160k plus super.
