FILLED – Certified / Senior Financial Planner

This role will suit a Certified / Senior Financial Planner looking to apply your professional capabilities in a highly focused integrated financial services firm with strong existing client relationships.

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Adviser to join a well established firm in the Sydney CBD, this is a new role created to support the continued growth of the business.

The Role – Certified / Senior Financial Planner

The role is to provide a high level of service and advice to an existing list of clients through personal interaction and client reviews, and on board new clients developed through accountant partner relationships.

Provide technically competent advice to key client segments – retirees, redundancy, wealth accumulators and business owners, delivering specialist services in SMSF and Business Succession Planning advice. Develop financial planning strategies for new and allocated clients.

The Person

Ideal applicants will have 5 years’ experience in a client facing advice role encompassing a broad range of client types and demographics. Additionally you will have experience working directly with accountants and/or managing successful referral relationships.

You will demonstrate a high level of competence and success delivering a broad range of strategic advice to clients, experience with SMSF’s and Business Succession Planning advice to business owners will be beneficial.

Degree qualified and have completed or near completion of CFP designation, plus FASEA accreditation.

Advanced interpersonal relationship skills, strong analytical skills and eye for detail, client service focus and a genuine desire to help others are a must. High energy levels, new client engagement skills, lateral thinking capabilities and commercial aptitude will be expected.

Remuneration

Base salary package (negotiable) circa $130-150K, plus annual incentive bonus.

Bonus paid on client retention, organic growth, client referrals and new business written, plus standard gateway and balanced scorecard measures, compliance, client satisfaction, team work, personal development.
