Mature business with an outstanding advice team and strong leadership, you will be working closely with two senior Financial Planners and the client service and administration team.
As a Paraplanner, your role will be to focus on back-office compliance, cash flow modelling, and the advice writing processes.
The role
Tailored advice modelling for SMSF clients
Assisting the business in meeting the high compliance standards in line with industry best practice
Writing Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), Review Reports
Assisting in the implementation of client strategies & investment advice
Liaising & coordinating with professional services and external stakeholders (eg: Stockbrokers, Accountants, Lawyers, Real Estate Agents, Banks, Superannuation Funds, Insurance Providers, etc)
Proactive input in the continuous improvement to the advice provided to clients and overall business processes & procedures
The Person
- Strong understanding of the financial planning industry, compliance & relevant legislative requirements
- Experience in writing detailed & complex advice
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Meticulous presentation and attention to detail
- The ability to have a solution-driven approach and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Minimum of an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the financial planning/wealth management industry
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Suite of products, XPLAN and Xtools+
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
