Paraplanner Champion required to support a team of Advisers in a large self licensed life insurance specialist advice firm. Fast paced environment with large national client base. Display your passion for technical excellence and compliant service with this growing business.

You will be responsible for supporting the advice process for both prospective and existing individual and SME clients, combined with delivering timely, efficient and high-quality service for all clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Paraplanner

▪ Conduct market comparison analysis and generate risk insurance scenarios using Risk Researcher, including but not limited to new cover, replacement cover and alterations to existing cover

▪ Generate detailed and accurate insurance quotations to support the advice recommendation process

▪ Work with risk advisers to assess client circumstances and needs, and identify insurance opportunities and issues

▪ Prepare accurate, thorough and high-quality Statements of Advice (SOA) and Records of Advice (ROA) using xPlan.

▪ Maintain SOA and ROA templates to ensure compliance with obligations under the AFSL, applicable regulations and legislations, and industry codes of conduct

▪ Maintain Risk Researcher settings, modelling and portfolio guidelines to ensure adherence to the house philosophy over time

▪ Commit to continually developing paraplanning-related expertise, skills and knowledge, to ensure superior outcomes for clients

▪ Meet all KPIs and strive to continually improve your performance through self-paced learning, active participation in training opportunities, and valuable use of 1:1 engagement with your manager

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (preferred)

▪ 5 year’s risk paraplanning experience

▪ Strong working understanding of Life Insurance products

▪ High level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously

▪ Excellent verbal and written communication

▪ Well organised with strong administration and time management skills

▪ xPlan experience is essential

▪ Knowledge and experience in preparation of business risk SOA’s advantageous

REMUNERATION

A salary package to $88k inclusive of super will be offered to the successful applicant, plus personal insurance cover and the opportunity to earn a performance based incentive bonus.
